If you’re unaware what a media kit is, it is a digital portfolio of sorts that tells brands what they need to know about you before they decide to work with you. It’s like a pitch where you can sell yourself to the brand and convince them to work with you.
This media kit template, which I’ve personally been using for over a year now, shows off your audience demographics, your stats, brands you’ve worked with and much more!
What you & your brand are all about
Your social media channels and their stats
Your audience demographics
Your previous brand collaborations
Your contact information
This kit is perfect for YouTubers, Instagrammers and bloggers. It has helped me land a lot of brand deals, and also helped me charge a good rate from brands. You can get an idea of how I present my stats (I’ve also included my actual stats). Of course my following size and content has played a role too and I’ve built up quite a portfolio now, but a well made media kit is a good way to show to brands how professional you are and gives you a competitive edge and makes you more memorable to brands. This template has worked for me to land free hotel stays and get free tours even when I had a MUCH SMALLER AUDIENCE.
Note: This download includes both PDF and Powerpoint formats, so you can also make edits to the media kit. I recommend using this as inspiration to design your own media kit rather than just copying this exactly so you stay unique and true to your brand. If you’re just starting out, you could make a condensed 2-3 page version of the template I’ve shared.
